Tehran in Iran

I just want you to know that, Tehran was my first serious trip since I've ever done. After boring exams I just took a bus ticket from Baku to Tehran. To be honestly I didn't have exact a plan. I just took a few clothes with me and went there. While going there I kind of felt strange. They use Arabic alphabet and I got nothing anyway. I just exchanged 50 manat (Azerbaijan money) on the border and I arrived there almost midnight. But there's a good news. I have a host who can give me some advice and share stories. So let's get started without plan. My host just gave me some advice for first day. Let's go where they are. By the way Iran isn't like in the news, it's much better.

One of the oldest historic monuments in the city of Tehra, and of world heritage, status, the Golestan Palace belongs to a group of royal buildings that were once enclosed within the mud - thatched walls of Tehran's arg ( citadel ). It consists of gardens, royal buildings, and collections of Iranian crafts and European presents from the 18th and 19th centuries (Wikipedia)

You definitely should go there.

Now the weather is cold and I'm starving. There's a restaurant which is called Moslem Restaurant. I offered it in the below photo. It was delicious.

If I'm full let's keep traveling. I'm going to Azadi Tower. Azadi Tower is symbol of freedom.

I'm kind of tired. I would like to go my host home It's enough for today. I hold myself for tomorrow.

I was really surprised. My host is also a master chief. It's name is Ades Pulu. It was extremely delicious. I'm feeling well second day and I've a plan. And my host made a breakfast for us. It seems also good to you.

I'm really energetic right now and let's get started. Milad tower waits me I'm coming to you. It's already sixth tallest in the world as I know and you can see Iran view well from there. Ticket was 13 tumen. To be honestly it's just a tower. But if you're interested in looking like eagle yeah it's worth to visit there.

Next stop is Sa'dabad Complex. There're also other museums in the complex. That's why if you want to see others you need to take tickets first entrance. I just bought two ticket and it was 30 tumen. You'll see stuffs about Pahlavi family. It's really worth to visit there. I highly recommend you there.

Gerilir zorlu bir yay oku fırlatmak için ...

Tiger has been already there since big fight.

There's a near bazaar which is name is Tajirish Bazaar. I'm going there to have a lunch and see different things. As you see in the below photo they're fresh and smell good.

There's restaurant in the bazaar and I offered dizi. It's a famous meal in Iran. It was all 16 tumen. Don't forget to crash it in the bowl.

There's a popular mosque around there. It's name is Emamzadehsale. It's really colorful for a mosque. Hello mountains !

Another mission is waiting you man. It's going to be Niavaran. I took a taxi to go there. But make sure how much taxi cost is before you go there. I'm at one of the most popular museum.Ticket was 30 tumen.

Those furnishings are even expensive in the present. I don't go back old days.

After all things I got really tired and as usually a good delicious waits me with nice guys.

I don't remember what's name is but we really had a great time each other. I'll never forget it. Thanks guys !!!

My plan in third day is going to be National Jewelry Museum and Khoshbin Restaurant. It's a short trip for third day. I hold myself for tomorrow. Address is Tehran Province, Tehran Javadiyeh 213 Avenue Central Bank of, Ferdowsi. Ticket was 15 tumen I gave everything in the hole for security. Unfortunately I have no photos about there but you can search it. After there I went to Khosbhin Restaurant and offered that.

It's kormi sebzi and was 17 tumen. Restaurant is near Sadi metro station. And then I just walked randomly.

When I got home, I had a good plan because tomorrow there will be Tehran International Exhibition. Hehe I'm so lucky :) I'll see so many things at the same time about other regions. By the way a friend will be joining me. It's another plus. I woke up early and meet my friend in metro station and went to exhibition.

I'm with guys who are wearing traditional clothes. It happens every year as i learned from a local guy.

The woman is wearing kilim (kind of carpet but smaller).

That's such a good homemade.

They're alive bronze.

Books in Persian are on the street.
Of course it's not enough now we're going somewhere where interest us.

I'm really so sorry I forgot that kind of exhibition museum name. I was a little bit in rush and I didn't write it down. You'll see miniature guys even including Stalin, Hitler, Pahlavi, Napoleon, etc. and handwriting books.

" I'm not saying, I'm gonna change the world, but I guarantee that, I'll spark the brain that will change the world by Tupac Shakur. "

Maybe so many famous guys were student where i was in the below photo.

I want to give you some advice about Tehran.

1- Make sure you have a local sim card. Internet and telecommunication can be difficult if you don't have.

2- Iran uses Arab alphabet. It seems confused to you. Have an English map.

3- If you're female, have a hijab and don't wear so colorful clothes. You can have attention. Make sure your clothes complete you.

4- Metro is useful just buy a metro card. Before you go somewhere, look at the map you can go with metro.

5- Banks don't work with western. Have some cash and change it only banks. You can find a lot  banks Ferdowsi square. It's also metro station. And don't forget to ask someone you can change your own money. I've had problem with Azerbaijan money. Dollar and Euro are the best as everywhere.

6- You might have some problems while speaking English. Try to find some young generation. They help you. I used to travel with https://www.couchsurfing.com/ found some guys to meet.

7- There's kind of a Uber program also you can use it for taking a taxi. It'll be cheaper and some sites are blocked in Iran.
