Where am I going now ?
Ganja sounds good. I've heard a lot things about there. So Let me make my trip come real. I need a ticket and if possible a good host who can give me some useful advice about there. I think that, two days are enough for there. If everything is ready don't miss the bus and here we go. By the way I found a host from Ganja.
During all way to go Ganja I didn't take care of stuffs. I finally arrived there and called my host but he said that, I'm busy right now, You can travel around here, I'll tell you when we meet. Anyway keep traveling alone and ask so many questions to local people.
First step to Haydar Aliyev Park.
There's a big gate to welcome you in the park. (I've never seen a park before like this. It's very big)
Park was really clean and colorful but the weather was bad in the morning. That's why There were no kids around there.
Can I just rent a space from here for summer ? Baku is really hot and dry in the summer.
My bag is activated again :)
There' re small shops and a cafe where you can eat or buy something in the park.
I've finally found my own path in the avenue. It made me feel better.
As you see it's Ganja State Museum of Local Lore. I just took 11 number bus from Haydar Aliyev Park and walked 5, 7 minutes for there. You'll see ancients, used materials and even a skeleton.
Nizami Ganjavi is one of my favorite Azerbaijan poets.
(This picture is representative)
What happened to you man !!! I've no idea What he is doing there. It just seems to me he's taking some rest.
There's an interesting home near Ganja State Museum of Local Lore. It's literally called ''Şüşeli Ev''. It's made by wine bottles as I learned from a local guy. After II. World War a guy who is from Ganja made it. I'm warning you, people still live there, it's not a museum OKAY !
Azerbaijan words with Russian alphabet but not exactly Russian and Azerbaijan alphabet.
Now I'm getting thirsty. I prefer to go Khan Bagi. Let's drink a cup of tea. There's a church on my way when I leave ''Şüşeli Ev'' behind of me.
Unfortunately I couldn't take photos inside of church. It's forbidden. There's an elder woman who explains that building. By the way I didn't forget to buy a pray card in Russian.
There're some monuments inside of Khan park and a cafe. People easily recognize that I'm a Turkish while trying to speak Azerbaijani language. I learned Where Shah Abbas Mosque from waiter. It's easy to find mosque from Khan Bagi. Now Let's go to a silent place.
There're also some part of castle there.
As you see in the below photo it's ''Shah Abbas Mosque''. I really needed to clean myself in the shadirvan. (Where is possible to take abdast for Muslims.)
I'm in the mosque and I started writing my travel notes Where I went, What I ate blah blah just for you :). By the way mobile phone is really starving for battery. It's also good stop for it.
I think, it's enough a trip for one day. It's time to call host. Himm he didn't answer and return me yet. Anyway let's take a walk in the streets. During walking in the streets my stomach reminds me I'm hungry. I don't say that what you should eat in Ganja. I just found somewhere to have a diner even it's peaceful with my pocket. Ohh my host texted me and it was just frustrating. If you're not sure yourself Why you invite someone to your home. But I was enough experienced like this situation.
Second day is going to be about ''Göygöl'' which is Blue Lake. Don't worry about me, I'm not going to sleep in the street. I found a local guy who can host me while looking a hotel. Chance turned on me again. I hope it's not last.
We need a taxi to get Blue Lake. It would be 30 manat from center of town. I understood why there were a lot of people when I arrived there. A fresh air welcomes you in the mountain with naturally best views.
It names Blue Lake because of it's cleanest lake in Azerbaijan in my opinion.
With local guys who hosted me for a night. Except taxi driver.
I want to end up with Nizami Ganjavi words. If I tried to translate it to English, it would be like that,
Don't waste your time
Take a pencil
Take pains in the world
Learn How to learn...
That's it for Ganja. Of course I absolutely know that, it was all just a short trip. But every trip makes me better than I'm right now. Thank you for reading my blog, I hope to see you in my next trips. Have a nice day.
